The Ulysses Youth Ministry works with kids from the sixth grade through the twelfth grade. We want each young person to feel loved and accepted. We understand that these can be some tough years as they wrestle with social issues, school, friendships, and preparing for high school and then college. We want to journey with them through these years of character building and decision making.
Relationships are at the heart of our youth ministry. We want to know all of our youth by name, the sports they play, and how they are doing in school. But, beyond that, we want to know that they are doing well in life, and we want to help where we can. We also want to help our young people begin to build a relationship with Jesus.
Our youth ministry has a number of activities for youth, including:
· Sunday and Wednesday Bible classes
· Youth Rallies in Wyoming and several places in Kansas
· Monthly Small Group meetings
· Bible Camps
· Service/ministry projects
· And other fun activities throughout the year
· Leadership Training For Christ
One of our most exciting youth and children’s programs is Leadership Training for Christ, or "LTC." LTC is designed for third graders through high school students to develop leadership and ministry skills. Activities include choruses, puppets, drama, art, photography, speaking and a host of other activities. About 25 to 30 people from the church travel to Rogers, Arkansas every spring for LTC convention, joining about 2,000 other people for an exciting weekend.

As you can see in the pictures on this page we have just renovated the Teen Room, making it a fresh, bright new place where they can gather comfortably for their many various activities. We want to give a BIG THANK YOU!
